LA Film Critics Awards: Drive My Car premiato come miglior film del 2021
Il film giapponese di Ryusuke Hamaguchi è candidato all'Oscar come miglior film straniero
La Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) ha votato sabato i migliori successi cinematografici del 2021, annunciando i suoi vincitori tramite il suo account Twitter. Il film giapponese di Ryusuke Hamaguchi, Drive My Car, candidato all’Oscar per il miglior film e la migliore sceneggiatura, ha ottenuto il titolo di Miglior Film dell’anno, con The Power Of The Dog che si è piazzato secondo. La LAFCA ha poi invertito i due titoli nella categoria di miglior regista, premiando Jane Campion, con Hamaguchi come secondo classificato. Tra i premi più ambiti troviamo Simon Rex in “Red Rocket” per il miglior attore, Penélope Cruz in “Parallel Mothers” per la migliore attrice e Ariana DeBose in “West Side Story” per la migliore attrice non protagonista.
